
Senior Computer Center
Hundreds of local seniors enjoy access to computers and low-cost training thanks to the Senior Computer Center at the Louden Nelson Community Center. Cutting-edge software, email and volunteer techs help keep seniors in touch and on top of the latest technologies.

Scholarship Program
Scholarships of more than $28,000 annually given in 2016. Thanks to generous contributions by the City of Santa Cruz, Omega Nu, the J.R. Scott Memorial Fund, and the JG Boosters.
Scholarships are available year-round for low-income Santa Cruz city residents. Scholarship applications for fall are available in July and awarded in August. Scholarship applications for winter-spring will be available in December and awarded in January. Scholarship applications for summer will be available in March and awarded in April.

Junior Guard Boosters
Junior Guard Boosters has provided over $6000 in scholarships and purchased state of the art equipment for the Jr. Guard program. Their fundraising efforts have also provided competition event flags EZ-Ups, healthy snacks at beach competitions, discount prices for Jr. Guard sweats, rash guards, hats and hosting the end of the summer awards banquet.

Captain Corps
Donations provide annual CPR and First Aid training courses for Captain Corps volunteers, in addition to uniform sweats, swim suits and t-shirts. New paddleboards boards and rescue tubes have also been purchased to help support this valuable volunteer program.
